Here is the TED talk introducing the Microsoft WorldWide Telescope project. This is totally amazing…It is almost like having a new sense. Microsoft just needs a few projects like this to make people feel differently about their brand.

From the demo, the worldwide telescope does not look that better compared to stellarium (http://www.stellarium.org/)
I suppose they will have better feeds of sky images.

Thanks for the link Erwan. I will have to sit down with both Maya and Clarisse and test them side by side and see which on wins…At the very least, you have to give credit to Microsoft for increasing the awareness …This is an amazing entertainment tool for kinds (and older kinds
